In 2020, Facebook launched We the Culture, a content initiative created to amplify content from Black creators during the global COVID-19 pandemic, a time when many creators faced limited opportunities for visibility and live engagement.
In 2021, We the Culture celebrated these creators by hosting a socially distanced drive-in concert titled From The Culture With Love, adapting to pandemic-era safety measures while still fostering community and connection.
The event featured performances by Kelis, Victoria Monét, and IDK.”
